Take away meals now available for collection.

We now offer take away meals 7 days a week.
Select your meals from our full menu and then call to book a time slot for collection.
Payment can be taken over the phone and the meals brought to your car,
or you can pay when you pop in for your collection.
Collections are available Monday – Saturday 12-9 and Sundays 12-6.

We are delighted to be able to welcome you back, we have missed you all so much.

We have made some changes which will allow us to serve you safely, as briefly outlined below.

1. Where possible, please book a table. This will allow us to better manage numbers, stagger arrival times and ensures we have your details for our track and trace records. We also have an NHS QR code displayed at both entrances which we require you to use to check in.
2. As per the current government guidelines for the North East, we can only allow you to sit with your own household indoors, or with six individuals in our garden. Please don’t put us in a position where we need to refuse service.
3. On arrival it is imperative that you wear a face covering (unless exempt) until you are seated, sanitise your hands before waiting to be greeted and shown to a table straight away. There will be no standing/gathering at the bar for the moment.
4. A server will show you to a table and offer you a disposable menu. Your table will then be laid with fresh cutlery and condiments. We are offering full table service for food and drinks indoors.
5. Please adhere to social distancing and wear a face covering when moving around the building.
6. Sanitize you hands frequently and look out for one way systems.

Finally, please be assured that we have taken all possible steps to ensure your safety (and ours). Our risk assessment and Covid training are thorough. We have added screens to cover our whole bar, and in some dining areas. We have removed dining tables to allow much more space. Please bear with us as we get used to this new way of doing business. We can’t wait to welcome you all from 4th July.

Festive Nibbles

Throughout December until the New Year you can book to come as a group from 10 people to 100 and pre order from our festive nibbles menu. This allow a more casual festive dining experience . We can provide an area perfect for your numbers and also arrange bespoke drinks packages .

Christmas Fayre menu

Christmas Fayre – We serve our Christmas fayre menu all day Monday to Saturday throughout December from 12pm until 9pm. Our multiple choice set menu offers great choice and value for money. We are able to cater for couples, families or large groups. We can also arrange drinks for your arrival to make for a memorable festive get together.

New Year

On New Year’s Eve we will be serving food from 12 until 9pm. If you’d like the spend the evening with us, then booking a table for your evening meal between 7pm and 9pm will allow you to stay to see in the New year. If it’s just drinks you’ll be looking for then there will be a £5 door charge however this will allow you stay the evening and we will provide a hot supper during the interval. The fantastic Smokin’ Barrels will be playing from 9pm till late!!
